VARUHAS , Theodora (Calafatidis)

 26.02.1935 to 03.04.2025

Passed away peacefully at Te Hopai, Wellington. Dearly loved and devoted wife of Peter for 67 wonderful years. Much loved mother of Nicola Nina, Christina, Costa and Sarah. Beloved and cherished Yaya (grandmother) of Jason, Natalie and Ross, Andrew, Michael, and Alicia. Loved godmother to Paul, John, and Catherine.

The family wish to sincerely thank the management and staff at Te Hopai for their love and care. In lieu of flowers donations to the Greek Orthodox Cathedral would be appreciated.  Messages to the Varuhas family may be posted c/- 306 Willis Street, Aro Valley, Wellington, 6011.

A service for Theodora will be held at the Greek Orthodox Cathedral “O Evangelismos tis Theotokou” (Annunciation of the Birth giver of God), 3 Hania Street, Mount Victoria, on Thursday 10 April 2025 at 10am, thereafter interment at Makara Cemetery.
