Joanne Andersen

With heavy hearts we share that our beloved wife and mother, Jo Andersen, passed away October 1st, now reunited with her daughter Grace.
Jo brightened the lives of everyone around her with her vivacious love, kindness, laughter, and impeccable style — always the best dressed in any room. Her love and spirit live on through her devoted husband of 44 years Svend, and her children Josh, Mia, Grethe, and Thaddaeus.

She will be missed deeply but remembered with love and joy.

Jo’s Vigil Rosary will be at St Francis De Sales Catholic Church, Wednesday 8 October at 7pm

Our thoughts go to you all at this great loss of a beautiful wife & mother.
We know you will all wrap each other with love, comfort & braveness.
We are sorry that we cannot attend Jo’s funeral but you are definitely in our thoughts.
We have been living in Taupo for three years now.
Paul is not well & has been given around five months to live.
Life can be very cruel and reiterates the true meaning of family love.
Take care all of you.

To dear Svend and family,
It is with great sadness that we send this message to you all. Jo was a truly wonderful human being. A truly special neighbour to Mary in Treasure Grove for all those years. We always loved Jo’s brightness and smile and her lipstick of course. We extend our love and thinking of you all at this time.

I am so very sorry to hear of Jo’s passing. I only knew Jo for a short time, but it was an absolute pleasure meeting with her each week and getting to know her last year. She was kind hearted, smart and full of love. I enjoyed my time with her and I was hoping to see her again. My thoughts are with you.
