David Austin

AUSTIN, David John Frederick, passed away peacefully in Millvale House on 29 September 2024 aged 85. Beloved partner of Rodney for 51 years. Loved family member of Correen, Laurie, Sylvie, Debbie and Vin. A private ceremony and cremation have taken place. Thanks to the staff at Millvale for their care. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer’s NZ or Wellington Free Ambulance. Dear Rodney. It must be telepathy- I was thinking of David only last week! We both send our warmest wishes to you. While not unexpected it is the end of an era and of a fulfilling and great life. Last week I was recalling so many theatre performances/ contributions/ laughter / dinner party murders/ and achievements not to mention BATS. Have a warm hug. Fiona
