Everybody at Huntleigh loved Win, even though she was only here a short time, She radiated kindness and concern and these qualities were reflected in her children and grandchildren. I especially got to know Pauline. Seeing Win’s funeral and requiem mass livestreamed, it was obvious her family were at peace, and almost joyful, knowing Win’s faith had always sustained her and that this had rubbed off on them at this special time.

I am so grateful that Frank and I were able to visit Aunty Win and Uncle George in January, 2023. The beautiful eulogies given by her children and grandchildren gave us a wonderful insight into the all loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother that Win was (and still is, as she intercedes for you all in Heaven). Take comfort that she left this earth knowing how much she was loved. “Those whom we have loved and lost are no longer where they were before. They are now wherever we are.” – St John Chrysostom. With love, Alicen van Bokhoven (daughter of Harvey Burrell), Sydney, Australia
