Died peacefully on 20 August 2024, age 84. Dearly loved mother of Kahu and Hirani and aunty of Cherilyn, Matt & Ian.

Having known Cynthia all of my life,I was so sorry to hear the sad news.
I have many happy memories of our childhoods, and would like to send love to all the family.

Dear Kahu and Hiraani
I have many happy memories of time I spent with your mother and time we all spent together in Wellington and abroad. I especially enjoy remembering sunny days in her lovely garden – and in particular the great pleasure we shared watching and listening to the birds she attracted to it. Her eyes lit up and she’d beam “there’s my Tui!”
I’m sorry not to join you in person but will watch the service on-line. I’m thinking of you all. Sarah
