Tributes

Cathi and I were sorry to learn of John’s passing .
I was privileged to work for John in Wrightson NMA Head Office in Wellington between 1980-1986.
John embellished everything that made us proud to work for the company. His contribution to New Zealand agriculture both at local and national level was impressive.
Special thoughts at this sad time for Mary and the family.

David and Cathi Lough

My condolences to the family. John was very much a gentleman and I always enjoyed his company during my time with SeniorNet Wellington. I regret that I am unbale to attend the funeral tomorrow.

The Rotary Club of Wellington forwards their sincere sympathy to Mary and the family on the passing of John. He is long remembered as a very loyal and diligent member of the Rotary Club, he contributed in a wide manner and was always ready to go that extra mile for a service project or activity.
The awarding of a Paul Harris Fellowship some years ago was a very fitting recognition of his commitment, and service given to the wider community through his Rotary involvement.
Our members always enjoyed his friendship, wide knowledge, and willingness to be involved.
Rest in peace John, your long life and contribution will be long remembered.
