Alison Roberts

ROBERTS, Alison Jean, passed away peacefully surrounded by family in Huntleigh Rest Home on 11 August 2024 aged 83. Beloved mother of Gordon and Cheryl, and mother-in-law of Heidi and Gary. Treasured grandmother of Matt, Dan, Kate, Celestine, Sholah, Sol and Seraphina. Loved sister of Bev and Ian. Loved Aunty and friend. A service to celebrate Alison’s life will be held at Lychgate Chapel, 306 Willis Street, on Wednesday 21 August at 1.30pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the SPCA. Thanks to the amazing staff at Huntleigh. Messages for the family can be sent care of Lychgate Funerals.

My heart and deepest sympathy go out to all of Alison’s family. Alison has been a great friend for nearly 20 years. We met when we started playing golf at Makara. over the years we have enjoyed playing golf (trying to play, we joked!), going to movies together and Probus etc. Alison asked me to be with her when her lovely cat, Rocky passed away.
