Poy Shiu Don Poy

Joe, Poy Shiu Don. Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on the 27^th November 2023. Loved husband of 55 years to Marlene. Dearly loved father & father-in-law of Sharon & Andrew, Vivien, Lesley & Greg. Michelle & Salvi. A loving Goong Goong to Hamish, Brenna, Rosie & Daniel & grand-dogs, Ollie, Archie & Alfie. Respected brother & brother-in-law to Peter & Aimee, Peggy & Gordon, Ray & Hing, Jim & Doris, Norman & Liz, Jeanette & Dennis & brother in-law to Peter (dec) & Pana, Gordon & Denize, Albert & Lai Ying (dec), Barbara & Murray, Linda & Murray (dec), Kevin & Margaret (dec) & Julie & Chris. Will be missed by all his nieces & nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Wellington Free Ambulance would be greatly appreciated. The Poy family would like to thank Wellington Hospital, Wellington Free Ambulance, Mary Potter Hospice, Margaret Stewart House, Nurse Maude, Onslow Medical Centre, Johnsonville Medical Centre & Malvina Major Hospital Care for their caring support of Don over the past year. A celebration of Don’s life will be held on Monday 4^th December 2023 at Lychgate Funerals, 7 Johnsonville Road, Johnsonville at 11am then a burial at Makara Cemetery.
