TRIBUTES

Michael Child

My name is Michael Child and my wife is Dianne. We are Adam’s Uncle and Aunty.
We were there from the day Adam was born and had the privilege of watching him grow up, marry Cery (now deceased), and become the proud father of Aiden and Lupin.
As a young boy, Adam always seemed to find adventure, sometimes the hard way. From walking through a plate glass window at four years of age, to landing in hospital as a teenager after putting his foot under a tractor slasher, there was rarely a dull moment. I could share many stories of Adam’s escapades.
But what is most important to say is this — Adam had a heart of gold. Beneath the mischief and the toughness was a young man who would always offer a helping hand. He cared deeply for people.
We know Adam had a heart for the Lord. In that we take comfort. Death does not have the final say. Adam is now on an everlasting journey and reunited with his father, Paul.
We also pass on our deepest sympathy to Aiden, Lupin, his mother Kim, his partner Anne, his sisters Roberta and Debbie, his brother Justin, their partner’s & children.
We also extend our heartfelt thoughts to Adam’s friends from his church and all others who knew and loved him.
Our own children, Marcus, Matthew and Ruth, who all love Adam and have countless stories of their own, send their love and condolences as well.
With sincere sympathy and love,
Michael and Dianne Child.

Adam
Life will never be the same without you. No phone calls no videos. Just held memories and love for you my brother.
I hold so many fond memories of us growing up and many others shared as adults. Your struggles with your health had been very heartbreaking but in the end you showed so much courage where I may not have. I’m so proud of you
I hold eternal love for you
I hope you and Dad are having a good laugh together.
Until we meet again
Roberta.

To our uso Adam and his family and loved ones, we are greatful for Adam abd his impact on othets. We meet Adam in 2019 when joined of our Men’s Ministry. We would meet, read the word of God, reflect, pray, sing and action this by ministering to the elderly. Adam and Annie Alexander and Ameressa would host us at there place. Many good memories. Adam loved the brotherhood, he’d refer to us as Uccce aka Uso ( Translated Brother) You could ask Adam a question and he would give you three different answers lol. He’d frustrate you but beneath it all he had a good heart and he cared. Adam loved Jesus and when he became unwell he in 2024 we’d track and sang to him at Wgtn Hospital, Kenepuru and St John of God. Adam spoke of Aidan n Lupin and his sibblings n family. Ephesians 6 v 18 Kerp on praying. Adam loved everyone and he held onto the promises of God. We will miss you uso. We love you. Manuia lou Malaga. (Jandle Usos)
