Dear Dougal, Julia, Andrea, Claire, grandchildren and son-in-laws.
My deepest sympathy at the loss of dear Carolyn. I’m deeply saddened by her death and to think that I won’t be able to see her again and to have those lovely talks with her on the phone from time to time.
I’m also very sorry to say that I’m not going to be able to attend Carolyn’s funeral on the 4th September owing to having to be in Auckland at my grandson Louis’s birthday, having arranged this some time ago and feel obligated to attend.
Sincerely, Mary Molloy

To dear Dougal, Julia, Andrea &Claire,
Very upset to read that Carolyn has died, so suddenly, after moving to a happy new lifestyle in Greytown.
Tony & I were next door neighbours and great friends, in Lancaster St Karori—for over 40 years…we brought up our children together and have kept in touch over all these years…
Will be with you on Friday to celebrate Carolyn’s life and give love & Hugs to Dougal, the girls & all their families…xxxxx
Kristin.

Jill Michell here, I’m with Mum. She had already got the message about Carolyn when I got here today so that was good.
She wants to send her sympathy to you all, and tell you that Carolyn was a very very good friend.
She always remembered to send Christmas and birthday cards – EVERY year… and no one else does!!!
Thinking about you all, Jill.
