Very sorry to hear that Peter has passed away.
I am the current Chair of the Wellington Branch of the Royal Aeronautical Society and this is on behalf of the branch. A few of us are able to make the service, tomorrow.
Peter was a great supporter of our Branch by being such a regular attender at our meetings and social function, he always had a funny story or two. He was a “regular” even in the last few months, although we did notice mobility was becoming more challenging. He would quite often join some of us for a “feed” after the meetings/presentations. His jovial personality will be missed.

Dear Margaret and Ray
Please accept my sincere sympathy on the loss of Peter. I remember him as about a ten year old.
You will have many wonderful family memories, cherish them with care.
I would have preferred to have written but with the vagrancies of our postal services I don’t know how long a letter will take getting to its destination.
My thoughts and prayers will be with you tomorrow.
May Peter rest in peace.
Kind regards
Jennifer Flynn
