Ellen and I have known each other since high school, and through all those years, distance never stood a chance against our friendship. Every single time Ellen came home to the Philippines, no matter how busy or tired she was, she always made it a point to see me and our high school barkada. She never forgot us, and those reunions are memories I will hold onto forever.
To most people, Ellen was the epitome of sweetness, she was calm, collective, and incredibly gentle. But behind that soft demeanor was a quiet, fierce strength. I was privileged enough to see both sides of her. When life got tough and she was battling her sickness, her soft side didn’t fade, but her tough spirit came to light.
Ellen, I will never forget the times we spent together. Thank you for the laughter, the loyalty, and the beautiful memories that date back to our high school days. You may be gone, but your gentle soul and fierce heart will live on in our memories forever. Rest well, my dear friend. You fought a good fight.

It is with a heavy heart that I say goodbye to a truly beautiful soul.
I had the privilege of working alongside you from 2011 to 2019, and even after I left, we remained in touch. You were so much more than a colleague — you were a mentor, a preceptor, a friend, and someone who always made those around you feel valued.
Your smile had a way of brightening even the busiest and most exhausting early shifts. Your kindness, warmth, patience, and gentle spirit left a lasting impression on so many of us. I learned so much from you, both professionally and personally, and I will always be grateful for the support and encouragement you gave so freely.
Thank you for the memories, the laughter, the guidance, and the friendship. You will be dearly missed, but never forgotten.
Rest peacefully my dear sister ❤️
