TRIBUTES

Jenny Thirtle

Dear Hayden, Jonathon, Caitlin, Margaret, Simon and Tim,
Sue was such a kind, warm person and fun to be around. Though I cannot be there in person, please know that I am mourning alongside you and holding your family close in my heart and thoughts. Sending so much love to you all as you remember and honour Sue today.
Love Jenny and Lachlan.

Robert Thirtle

Sue was such a lovely person. From way back in the 1970’s when the Thirtles first came to New Zealand to most recently at Margaret’s birthday, the all-too-rare occasions catching up with Sue were always a joy. Whenever I saw her I always felt she beamed with positivity and love.

The Westerhof Family

We will always treasure our fond memories of our dear friend, Susan, and the wonderful, kind and caring person she was – and her love for cats. Our thoughts are with you all as you pay tribute to Susan.

Rowena OSullivan

My friendship began with Sue in the 6th form at Kelston Girls High School, where we sat near the back and giggled most of the time. Whenever we caught up over the years, it was as if we’d just seen each other the other day and would once become gigglers. I’m grateful to have known her and will miss her very much. The memory of her will remain in my heart and I will remember her happy smile and giggles. Sue, you will be missed.
