Gaskin, Keith Clarence

Passed away peacefully on November 4th, age (93).Much loved husband of Monica (deceased).  Cherished Dad of Wendy, Brian, Lynette, Rose, Jude and David. He was dearly loved and will be much missed by his extended family and friends. Keith’s memorial service will be held at Lychgate, Johnsonville on Tuesday 18^th November at 11.00am. Robin and Lindsay Russell

We did not know Keith well, but we have heard so much about him over recent years, mainly through Lish, that we could recognise what a remarkable person he was. Everything we know of his family proves his wonderful legacy. He must have been rightly proud of that, and you all can be proud of him. We are sure he now rests in peace and may you keep the happy memories of him alive forever.

So sad to hear of Keith’s death. A stalwart of Karori Golf Club and latterly a ‘member’ of the Tuesday afternoon crowd at The Pickle Jar. He will be missed. Our thoughts are with you all.

Dear Wendy, Lynette, Rose, Jude, David and families,

Our heartfelt condolences on the passing of your Dad, Grandad and Great-Grandad. Gaskie was one of a kind — a true treasure — and it brings comfort to know he is now reunited with your Mum and Brian.

It was a privilege for all of us to share time with Dad: at Rawleighs, at his 90th birthday with Mum, and through the Eagles with both your Mum and Dad. Mum and Dad often reminisced about the good old Rawleighs days, when our Dads played table tennis and spent their Saturdays helping move families or businesses from one place to another.

You have so many precious memories to hold close — of a life well lived and filled with fun, laughter and family.

On behalf of Kathy, Phil, Rosie and our families, we are thinking of you all as, like us, you navigate life without your Mum and Dad. May you be wrapped in love.
