KEANE, Patricia (Pat) Helen (née Casey)
Passed away peacefully on July 9th, age 90 & 3/4.
Pat, Mum, Nana, Ma Pat, GG will be remembered with love every day for her cheekiness, quick wit and laughter. She will be missed by Tisha & Ian, Margaret, Bill & Gail, Catherine, Julie & Ian, Fiona & Adrian, her 11 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and the extra daughters she gathered along the way. Mum, you were our best friend and your warmth, kindness, laughter and generous spirit touched everyone who knew you.
We give special thanks to the medical and palliative teams of Wellington Hospital, Wellington Ambulance Staff and staff at Kemp Home who bestowed care and dignity while looking after Pat.
A Rosary and vigil where friends and family can share their memories of Pat will be held on Tuesday 14 July at 6pm at the Lychgate Chapel, 7 Johnsonville Road, Johnsonville.
A celebration of life will be held at St. Francis of Assisi on Wednesday 15 July at 2pm – all are welcome. Mum loved to sparkle, so please feel free to wear purple and a touch of bling in her honour.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Wellington Free Ambulance or the SPCA.
