Joy has reached the end of her journey. She was an intrepid traveller. At the 60th anniversary celebration of our travel club, she placed pins on more countries on the world map than any of the other well-travelled members. She never let an opportunity pass her by.
Joy lived an active life through her work, her study, varied interests and membership of numerous organisations. Over the years she has been active in the Federation of University Women, The Arts Society Wellington, Amity, Zonta Club of Wellington, Victoria Bridge Club, Justice of the Peace, SeniorNet, U3A and associated Special Interest Groups. While she was very much involved in the community, she also unobtrusively provided support to friends and acquaintances in need.
May you rest in peace, Joy.

Dear Margaret,
Thinking of you at this sad time .  Sue sent me the funeral notice asking me if I remembered the McNicoll family and of course I said yes and lots of memories came back!  So I thought I would send a little message to you from me!
I trust you are well and family grown.
Our four boys are all married and we have 10 grandchildren aged from28 to 9yrs so have had some busy years.  Extra fortunate that they are all in the Auckland area.
Geoff and I keep good health and are fortunate to be busy with the Presbyterian Church in Howick and the U3A group.  Geoff also has a fishing group each month .
Love to you all and your families, Treasure your memories,
From the Corser family ex Pt Howard, (Sue and Helen are both in Taradale now)

I’m so sorry to hear about the passing of Joy. I was her favourite banker at ANZ . We have got to know each other through many chats. We all loved seeing what her colour of the day was. She was excellent at embracing technology and a whizz on the banks app. We will miss her and her visits.
