Fe Benita Muriel

On the 28^th of March 2026, our beloved mother, Fe Benita Muriel, passed away peacefully, carried with such calm and grace into eternity. We are deeply thankful for her life, her love, and the quiet peace that surrounded her as she left us.

Her memory is lovingly held by her children, Flora, Angel, Viva, her son-in-law- Bert, her grandchildren, Nicole, Reuben, Jesse, Melissa, Miguel, Tom, and Harry, and her great-grandchildren, Thomas, James, Aliyah, Misha, Leon, Idris, Alireza, Hazhir, Cirrus, and Luna.

Thank you for your prayers, kindness, and support as we remember her with gratitude and hold her close in our hearts.

We will share details of her celebration and memorial service once arrangements are confirmed. At this stage, it is expected to be held on Saturday 02 May 2026.

I am deeply saddened by the passing of Lola Fe. It’s hard to find the right words to express the pain of losing someone so kind, warm, and full of love.
I can still vividly remember the first time we talked and it was during the pandemic. We spoke about God, and even though we may not have met personally, I truly felt her love and care for me. She always made sure to send me copies of her daily devotions, reminding me to stay strong in faith and to trust in God no matter what.
Lola Fe also supported me in ways I will never forget. She helped me financially with my academics, showing not only her generosity but also her belief in me. Because of her, I felt encouraged to keep going and to do my best. I even had the honor of mentioning her support in my valedictory address in high school, just a small way of showing how much she meant to my journey.
I will forever be grateful for her kindness, her guidance, and the love she gave so selflessly. Though she may no longer be with us, her impact on my life will always remain in my heart.
Rest in peace, Lola Fe. You will always be remembered and deeply missed.

Dear Mommy Fe,
These past few years we have been in touch through messenger and a few times we even talked on the phone. I call you Mommy Fe because I feel that you’re my second Mom since I lost my mother a few years back. Every time you call me ANAK during our conversations on messenger, I felt your love. You enjoyed the pictures that I sent you from the children in my childcare, the birthday and Christmas celebrations we had at the childcare to the pictures of my small garden and my herbs and veggie harvests.
You expressed your enjoyment and happiness upon seeing the cute faces of the kids to my fresh veggie harvests. I’m sorry that I’m not able to visit you in Wellington. One time you even told me as if preparing me that you may not have a longer time on this earth because you’re getting old and already in a home or facility.
We used to talked about our days at the Foreign Affairs , Passport Division, Film Center where you used to teach us young people dance/work out during lunch break. I was still young, newly hired and you welcomed me with open arms. You were already, I think a Passport Signing Officer at that time.
MOMMY FE, I will miss our conversations.
May you rest in peace, may eternal light shine upon you. I know that you are in the arms of our Almighty Father. Until then, Mommy Fe.
