Sadly Gary passed away on 22 October 2026, aged 82, just 5 days short of turning 83.
With heavy hearts we say goodbye to a very much-loved husband of Alison (of 38 years), treasured father and father-in-law of Kim, Debbie and Dave, Dean and Jo-ann, and adored Grandpa of Amber, Alexandra, Jamie, Johnny and Amelia. Fond Uncle to Doug, Daniel, and Matthew. Loved son of the late John and Ethel, and brother of Johnny (dec), Maureen, Brian (dec), and Ross (dec). Gary will be remembered with love and will remain always in our hearts.
A farewell to celebrate Gary’s life will be held at Lychgate Funeral Home, Willis Street, on Wednesday 28 October at 11:30am.

Im sorry to hear the sad news of Gary’s passing.
I have fond memories of working with Gary in real estate at Dunbar Solane Real Estate Wellington he was a great mentor to me when I was young. Please accept my condolences to Alison and Family.
