Peter Turner

TURNER, Charles Peter Owen (Peter) passed away peacefully at Wellington on Saturday 18th January 2025 following a short illness aged in his 93rd year. Much loved husband of Judy and Dad of Linley, Matt/Andrea, and Jenny/Bruce. Peter was also a proud grandfather to Hannah, Olivia, Caleb, Josh, James, Adam, Sam, and Freya and great-grandfather to Ollie. Peter was a cherished brother of Barry (dec), David (dec), Malcolm (dec), Brian (dec) and Mary. A funeral service to celebrate Pete’s life is planned to be held on Saturday 1 Feb at 2pm at Plimmerton Hall on Sunset Parade Plimmerton. In lieu of flowers, donations to Wellington City Mission would be appreciated.

Sincere condolences to Peter’s family. We have known Peter and Judy since the late 1960’s and I, Peter Fehl, am privileged to have had the benefit of working with Peter over many years. Peter’s teaching and guidance has played an important role in my successful professional career.
